Joel Neeb serves as 8x8's Chief Transformation and Business Operations Officer, responsible for driving organizational alignment and operational excellence to deliver exceptional customer experiences across the company's global operations. Prior to joining 8x8, Joel led enterprise-wide transformations at VMware, where he spearheaded the company's evolution to a SaaS-focused business model, connecting product strategy with transformational business outcomes. Before VMware, he served as CEO of Afterburner, Inc., where he led a team of elite professionals in helping global organizations achieve breakthrough performance, earning recognition as one of America's top 25 small businesses by Forbes.

Joel currently serves on the executive advisory board for WorkBoard, as a Young Presidents Organization (YPO) chapter board member, and on the board of directors for Constructable. He holds a bachelor's degree from the United States Air Force Academy, a master's degree in aeronautical science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and an MBA from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business.
