Article Overview
2025 is behind us, and 2026 is underway. Before we fully turn to what comes next, we want to pause and reflect on what made the past year so meaningful.
2025 reinforced what we believe deeply. Strategy only matters when it shows up in weekly decisions, effective operating rhythms, and leadership conversations that drive action. That belief continued to guide how we built, shipped, and partnered throughout the year.
1. WorkBoardAI releases in 2025
Meet the AI agents
Last year we introduced our first AI Agents - the AI Chief of Staff and the AI Leadership Coach Agents. These agents help leaders and teams increase execution capacity without adding friction or overhead.
Leaders use agents to focus attention on what matters most, surface risks earlier, and follow through with greater consistency.

Your AI agents can:
- Create and maintain OKRs, including proactively closing outdated OKRs from previous cycles.
- Generate meeting pre-reads and summaries so you arrive focused on making decisions, not reviewing data.
- Build scorecards and highlight risks, dependencies, and alignment gaps so you spot troubles before they become blockers.
- Support equally executives, managers and co-managers so everyone throughout the org drives outcomes faster, better, more aligned.
This is only the beginning. In 2026, AI agents will advance further to help managers spend less time on mechanics and more time leading, coaching, and driving outcomes.
Stronger alignment and execution capacity
We continued to strengthen how organizations move from strategy to execution. Leaders need clarity on what matters now, where teams depend on one another, and where execution risk is building.
This year we delivered:
- Clear visualization of workstreams and timelines.
- Automated scorecards with flexible 20+ filters, including custom fields.
- AI-powered identification of alignment opportunities (available through your AI agents)
- One-click publishing of scorecards to PowerPoint and PDF.
- The ability to update Key Results directly from scorecards, without digging through the platform.
These capabilities reinforce a shared system of record that connects strategy to weekly execution and keeps teams operating in sync.
Metrics, security and new integrations
Enterprise execution requires rigor, consistency, and trust in the system. In 2025 we expanded platform capabilities that leaders rely on to standardize execution across teams and regions.
Highlights include:
- Tracking KPIs alongside OKRs, connecting business health monitoring with strategic direction insights.
- New integrations with Power BI, HubSpot, Monday.com, and Workday Check Ins.
- Enhanced admin controls, including new org level scorecard and business review admin roles.
- Secure user delegation so leaders can confidently delegate access to chiefs of staff, EAs, and ops partners.
Together, these improvements make it easier to scale execution without sacrificing clarity or control.

WorkBoardAI in your language
WorkBoard is now available in multiple languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Mandarin, Russian, Korean, and Finnish. Organizations can also configure a default language across all users.

Check Ins, coaching, and people analytics
We made meaningful progress in how organizations run check ins, coach managers, and understand performance patterns.
New check in enhancements improve both the employee and manager experience, including clearer completion controls, smoother navigation, AI suggested topics, and embedded feedback support. HR teams now have deeper configuration options, better access to records, and tighter control over cycles and segmentation.
We also launched new people analytics:
- 1on1 meetings and coaching analytics that connect individual (and manager) behavior to business impact.
- Feedback analytics that provide visibility into feedback culture and adoption across the organization.

These insights help leaders move from intuition to evidence when improving performance.
'Quality of life' improvements that matter day-to-day
Beyond major launches, we delivered many quality of life improvements that leaders and teams enjoy every day:
- Key Result milestones that define expected progress trajectories and clearly signal on track or off track status.
- Custom start and end dates for Key Results within an Objective time frame.
- Unified OKR time pickers with trimester and half year options.
- Images embedded directly in KR updates.
- Copy and reset enhancements that preserve mirror relationships.
- One-click archiving of old workstreams (projects).
- Faster, more interactive charts with flexible export options.
- Enhanced Heatmap search aligned to true org structure.
Each improvement reduces friction and reinforces execution discipline.
2. Joined forces with Quantive
In 2025, WorkBoard joined forces with Quantive through our acquisition, uniting two leaders in strategy execution. This milestone strengthens how we serve our customers and sets a clear direction for the future of the company, with more ambitious goals and increased investment in technology that improves strategy execution and expands leadership capacity.
We welcomed the talented Quantive team to WorkBoard. Together, we are strengthening strategy execution technology and expanding what leaders can achieve.

3. Welcoming new customers
We were proud to welcome new customers to the WorkBoard community this past year: Metropolis Technologies, Amanino, Noridian Health Care Solutions, Remitly, Sony, DaVita Kidney Care, Wellmark, Inspire, AESCULAP, Inspire, Black Hills Energy, Blue Cross Blue Shield, SLB, CAE, Wallenius Wilhelmsen, Hub, and many more.
Each partnership reinforces our belief that execution excellence starts with leadership readiness, shifting mindsets, and building a strong foundation for clarity, focus, and execution velocity.

4. In person events that made the community even stronger
We also brought the strategy execution community together at events around the world. At Accelerate in the US and EU (London), fifteen customer speakers shared their results, lessons, and real experiences of driving alignment and accountability at scale.

With 100% satisfaction from attendees, strong community engagement, and hundreds of leaders participating, the signal was clear. Coming together twice a year is not enough. That changes in 2026.
