As a Solution Consultant, you’ll be a key player in driving the adoption of WorkBoard by supporting the pre-sales engagements with our existing and prospective enterprise customers. You’ll support our sales organization in building trusted advisor status with business leaders who have strategic priorities and urgency to achieve them while positioning and driving preference for our platform.

Your work will also include collaborating with the leadership team to identify demand generation, messaging, sales enablement and sales execution best practices. Additionally, you will be a working with product marketing and product management leadership to provide valuable insights from customer engagements that will influence our product roadmap.

Bring 3+ years of business or management consulting experience working in fast paced environments where you had direct access to leadership. An entrepreneurs mindset, an appetite for learning and motivation to solve complex problems. A business degree from a great school (MBA is a plus). You’ll be skilled and super effective at:

  • Understanding the challenges that leaders face in either fast paced start-ups or slow growth large enterprises
  • Quickly building trusted advisor status with CEOs and P&L owners by demonstrating your business acumen, intellectual curiosity and passion for solving substantive business issues
  • Partner with account executives to grow our business with new and existing customers
  • Working at a fast pace while demonstrating professionalism and the attention to detail that is required to support sales engagements with CEOs and GMs
  • Partnering with peer teams across product marketing, professional services, customer success and development to build a company that is great in your customers’ eyes


  • Attend new-hire immersion training to build a deep understanding of our buyers, their pain points, our solution offering and how we work well as a team
  • Own the demonstration environment and be a WorkBoard product expert
  • Effectively deliver a solution demonstration to WorkBoard leadership
  • Read and understand all of the sales tools including our value frameworks and competitive analyses


  • Have shadowed at lease 6 OKR Workshops with our Client Services team
  • Be completely fluent in delivering demonstrations that reflect your prospect’s process and business starting point and show them a path to value realization
  • Both demonstrate and narrate the solution experience (process and platform) to P&L owners (CEOs and GMs) and stakeholders such as chief of staff, business innovation experts, and heads of HR in a way that speaks to their unique role in the decision to choose WorkBoard
  • Manage demo data integrity so it provides a compelling vision of the solution’s impact; build 2 additional vertical industry demos that are most relevant to prospects based on their industry
  • Complete first pass on information security questionnaires and requirements statements from customers
  • Working with Client Services, prepare value roadmaps and launch plans for sales proposals
  • Understand the competitive landscape and WorkBoards differentiation


  • Advise customers on excellent OKRs and brainstorm with them on how to articulate them, share insights on how others in their industry, functions and role measure great outcomes on a particular aspect of the business
  • Lead at lease 6 OKR workshops with our Client Services team
  • Expertly demonstrate our solution during the sales process in ways that show its advantages and underscore the disadvantages of competing solutions
  • Independently customize demo data sets and demonstrations to prospective customers when needed
  • Maintain a competitive grid and be the sales expert on differentiating WorkBoard’s value from alternatives (including do nothing)
